In a major step to strengthen public transport, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma flagged off 207 new state-run buses in Jaipur, aiming to improve connectivity across rural and underserved regions.

Strong Push for Better Connectivity

The newly introduced buses will be operated by the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation and are expected to enhance travel options across both rural and intercity routes.

The fleet includes:

  • 100 Blue Line buses
  • 79 standard (non-AC) buses
  • 28 air-conditioned buses

These buses will run on multiple routes, including areas where transport services were previously limited or unavailable.
